Sporting Charleroi’s striker, Kaveh Rezaei, on fire

IranSportsPress.com-Kaveh Rezaei scores again and again in Belgium. Sardar Azmoun, Mehdi Taremi, Karim Ansarifard and Reza Ghoochannejhad all played and scored for Iran in their World Cup qualification but Kaveh Rezaei haven’t yet scored a goal in 6 caps for Team-Melli.

Considering Coach Queiroz only picked two forwards in the 2014 World Cup squad you would think Kaveh is out of chance this time around but with his current shape Carlos Queiroz is forced to even consider Rezaei for a starting spot in the World Cup!

The 25 years old former Esteghlal star is currently Iran’s best forward and he’s a top striker in the Belgian Juplier league with 6 goals and 3 assists. He’s fairy-tale story continues on Friday as he scored twice, Charleroi just keeps winning and looking good for Europe’s qualifications next season. What speaks against it? Time of course. Just like Sardar Azmoun was cut from the WC2014 and just months later he was a key player in the  2017 Asian Cup, this story might just happen to Charleroi ace striker as well.
