Grenoble, the newly promoted side in France First division league, Le Ligue in 2008-2009 held a friendly match against Le Mans in preparation for their new Season kick-off against Socheux on Aug 9th.
Mojtaba Jabari who recently signed a contract extension with Esteghlal, successfully passed Grenoble medical test this week and was featured in the friendly encounter by Grenoble’s coach Mécha Bazdarevic to test the Iranian midfielder ahead of French league season kick-off.
Bazdarevic started mainly new players on trial and from youth academy to configure Grenoble’s formation for the new season.
Mojtaba Jabari who was started in midfield, displayed his teamwork effort early on in minute 30th by providing a cross to Veselinovic but the striker’s header landed in the arms of Le Mans’ goalkeeper. In the halftime, Grenoble coach made several changes to try his B plan with the same tactic. The Alpine coach took the opportunity to enter two youth training centre, Cianci replacing DJABARI in the 59th minute while substitute Florent Ogier replaced Juan in the 73rd minute.
At the end of the pre-season friendly, Grenoble lost 1-0 to Le Mans, while they have another friendly lined-up against Auxerre on Friday August 8th.
If Mojtaba Jabari have managed to catch the eyes of Grenoble coach at the match, he will be given another chance next Friday against Auxerre, only to finalize his future at Grenoble in 2008-2009 Season.
Based on his recent contract details with Esteghlal, the talented midfielder is permitted to move abroad at anytime, given the transfer fees are paid to Esteghlal club.
