Iran, Uzbekistan to play friendly

Iran has arranged the home game with Uzbekistan on August 20, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on Wednesday.

The Iranian squad is currently holding a seven-day training camp in the Czech Republic July 21-28.

Iran is slated to play against Bohemians FC on Wednesday and Slavia Prague on July 25.

Ali Daei's men also held a 10-day training camp in Marbella, Spain July 10-20.

Iran is preparing for the final Asian qualifying round for the 2010 World Cup which will be held in South Africa.

Iran was drawn into Group B in the final round of World Cup qualifiers alongside South Korea, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and UAE.
