Iranian Osasuna midfielder Javad Nekounam has brushed off transfer speculations by insisting he will stay in Pamplona.

and Espanyol have linked with Nekounam in recent days and this is while
Osasuna’s second best goalscorer in La Liga’s 2008-09 season said that he is not
going to leave Osasuna.
“I have a
lot of respect for Villarreal and Espanyol, but I am happy in Pamplona and I
have a great relationship with the fans,” the 28-year-old told Marca.
“Honestly, I
don’t want to abandon Osasuna,” added Nekounam.
