Japan's Ono suffers broken foot blow

Ono broke his right metatarsal bone on Wednesday while training with the Japan team in Manama, where the Asian champions take on Bahrain in a World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The 25-year-old will miss that match and Japan’s next qualifier against North Korea in Bangkok five days later.
He has also been ruled out of the Confederations Cup in Germany later this month.
Japan are second in Group B with six points from three matches, one point behind Iran, who take on North Korea at home on Friday.
Ono’s injury comes less than two weeks after German-based striker Naohiro Takahara tore a hamstring during Hamburg’s final game of the Bundesliga season.
