Iran arrive for Austrian training camp

(FIFA) – The Iran squad has arrived in Austria for a three-week training camp ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. Carlos Queiroz’s squad will be based in Bad Waltersdorf, over 100 kilometres to the south of Vienna, until 21 May before spending another nine days in neighbouring Stegersbach.

Iran will play three friendlies against Belarus on 18 May, Montenegro on 26 May and Angola on 30 May before heading to Brazil.

They were drawn in Group F along with Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Nigeria with their opening game against the west Africans in Curitiba on 16 June.
